That EF2 is no joke in its own right. 420wtq nearly flat across should bring a smile on the face of the daily driver at heart.

"Even on a stock 2.0 block the car never felt laggy and had amazing response out of the corners . In hindsight I'm very happy to have this turbo on my car, and after having experience with tuning, owning, and riding in BBK full, FP greens, reds, blacks, Gt30-35r, stock 9 turbo cars ...... I would choose this one before any of the above for my needs, especially when you couple the performance with the customer service I have received through Chris and the MAP team."
-- getsideways on EvolutionM.net forums regarding the Evo EF3

I just hit Cobbs dyno today and was at 28psi tapering to 23psi and made 478whp and 425wtq. Map 2.3 10.5:1 CR ported everything EF3 stock housing. Once I get more fuel and get more boost up top I expect well over 500whp This EF3 is a damn good turbo!!!
-- PlanoEvo on EvolutionM.net

Another local IX (my old one actually) put down 400whp (AWD Mustang dyno) on pump with an EF3 @ 25psi peak. He claims its a conservative tune with "no timing" but I haven't seen it so I can't confirm or deny. MAP 2.3L and MAP ported head with all the blah blah blah bolt-ons and supporting mods, its a good setup.

I'm really liking the results I've seen out of this turbocharger so far, I think this one may be MAP's big ticket into the turbo game.

Capable of 650whp this turbocharger offers incredible spool characteristics in comparison to similarly sized T3 turbochargers due to the twin scroll turbine housing, not to mention you are able to reuse your exhaust manifold / O2 housing / downpipe making this the most affordable route to 650whp as well!

Engine Oil

Engine Oil

All synthetic oils are not created equal! In fact, the majority of synthetic oils on the market seem to be more concerned with fuel efficiency and emissions compliance than wear protection and longevity! We recommend you choose from the following motor oils based on their high ZDDP content and corresponding wear protection. We've even included a few conventional petroleum based options that can be sourced for less than $5/quart if budget is a concern. Please contact your MAP sales rep with any questions regarding motor oil weight recommendations or availability.
